Player & Pitcher of the Month

The Jeff Crupper dot Com Player and Pitcher of the Month Awards were announced today. Gus Milner earned the position player honors, while Sam Walls grabbed the pitching honors.

For the month Gus hit .314 with ten of his thirty-two hits going for extra bases. He drove in twelve runs and scored nineteen times for the team.

Sam Walls was nearly invincible from the mound in May. He carried a perfect 0.00 ERA through the month giving up just six hits in eleven games. He recorded seven saves in May and struck out nineteen while walking just seven in 15.1 innings of work.

Congratulations to both of these guys on their terrific play and the well earned honor.
