SCHMIDT LIST PLAYER-OF-THE-DAY
The Clearwater Threshers downed the Sarasota Reds on Thursday night as the stadium celebrated 70s night.
Darren Byrd got another great start for the team going 8.0 innings holding the Reds to just three runs while the team’s offense exploded for seven runs behind a 3-RBI night from Michael Taylor who had a home run good for 3 RBIs, and 2 RBIs from Brian Finegan.
Your gracious host was the king of the 70s winning the costume contest thanks to his $2 Salvation Army pants and his $26 Ebay 70s Phillies cowboy hat.
