According to the Dallas Morning News former Clearwater Threshers star Greg Golson has been traded by the Phillies to the Texas Rangers in exchange for outfielder John Mayberry Jr.. Golson is a native Texan and makes his home in Austin, so I would think he’ll enjoy playing close to home, however I’d hate to be leaving the WS Champs for the Rangers.
